DESCRIPTION: An ultra tough digital camera which takes pictures, plays games and makes videos. Comes with 2 interchangeable faceplates, carry strap, CD-Rom, cables to link to PC and TV, and instructions manual. Requires 4 x AA batteries and is available in pink, blue, orange or green design. Suitable for children aged 3 years upwards. GOOD POINTS: This is a really excellent gift for your child to develop not only an interest in photography, but also to enable them to keep a record of major events in their life! It is a very tough sturdy camera with rubberised casing, and is designed to withstand the unpredictable temperament of a young artist! It comes in three colours to suit any child, and includes two patterned faceplates which can be interchanged for personalisation. Features of the camera include large easy-to-use control buttons (e.g. on/off, mode, volume control, delete, confirm, and shutter) which make a noise when pressed, although a volume control option is thoughtfully included. In addition, the camera has binocular-style optical viewing to make it simple for your child to hold the camera up close, and a large 1.8" LCD screen to allow them to see what the picture will look like. The camera also has a flash option and a photo workshop where pictures can be creatively edited. It comes with leads to link the camera to the television or PC so that your child can view and edit photos or watch videos on a bigger screen. Additionally, the camera includes three built-in games to occupy your child on the move or via a television - these include Tic Tac Toe, Rotation Puzzle, and Matching Pairs. Another great feature of the camera is its automatic shut-off after a short period of inactivity to save on battery power. There is also a handy carry strap for easy transportation and to secure it to your child's wrist when in use. In all, this is a well designed and thought out product which will keep even a young child fully entertained and will allow them to develop their creative side! BAD POINTS: The camera has a relatively small memory (16MB), although this can be expanded with an SD card (sold separately).
