Obesity is on more and more people's minds these days. Now if we can just figure out a way to get it off of our bodies!

Whether you're a male or female, it doesn't matter. We know what our correct weight should be. However, millions of us are in denial about our weight.

What was my wake up call? I'm so glad you asked.

Back in 1995, I went horse-back riding in Sedona, Arizona with some friends. Someone brought a camera and he was able to take a few photos. So he would ride ahead of us and take pictures. Then he would ride in back of us and take a more pictures. He developed those pictures and mailed them to us.

I was absolutely stunned at what I looked like, especially from behind. I looked as wide as the horse I was riding, and my horse was more Clydesdale than thoroughbred. How many of you can imagine my horror? My GOD! When did this happen?

Has it been awhile since you had some pictures taken of yourself 'front and rear?'

YOU NEED A WAKE UP CALL!

But for now, here are some 'hints' that might help you come to grips with the truth:

- Look at how deformed your shoes are.
- Does your face fill the bathroom mirror?
- Your couch has a deep depression in it
- Your bedsprings don't 'spring' back anymore.
- The toilet seat is too small.
- You're afraid of folding chairs.
- Your children use your clothes to play 'hide n seek.'
- You know everyone at the 'Buffet Caf?' by their first name.
- When you eat out, you only EAT at Buffets.
- You never go to crowded movies. Too hard to find an end seat.
- Your monthly food bill is as big as your monthly mortgage.

Somewhere along the way, I simply stopped paying attention. Plain and simple. I had found and embraced a New Comfort Zone. And that is exactly what you did. It happened to me in my forties. I had no focus, no goals, and no money. How do I make money so I can afford to eat healthier?

Today, no one is going to stop me from eating what I want to eat or how much. But truth be told, the lack of money was at the very heart of my weight issue. What about you? If you had something else to focus on, to shoot for, to occupy those 'eating' signals, it could change your life and your physique for the better. It's funny how something this simple can work when nothing else will.

What I found is something that allows you to make excellent income in fewer hours than it takes working 9 to 5 every day. That means more time to go to the health club, take long walks, and swim. Take action to get healthy both physically and financially. You have everything to 'gain!'
